THE O.R.A.C.L.E. PROJECT

“There is a retiring workforce that takes much of the knowledge with them. Some people call them ORACLES because of their wealth of knowledge and expertise! While their retirement is inevitable, there is a solution to capture their knowledge before they leave and ease the transition of new employees without having to re-invent the wheel.”

Welcome to THE ORACLE PROJECT

The O.R.A.C.L.E. Project (Organization Retention and Continuous Learning Experience) is a proposal created in the partnership with the Department of Energy and the University of Maryland Baltimore Campus for the Leadership Development Program.  As the Baby Boomers are beginning to retire, a wealth of knowledge is also exiting the enterprise with them. The focus of the project is to improve the efficiency of onboarding personnel by capturing the knowledge of these Oracles prior to them leaving their positions.  We believe that this transfer of knowledge will be beneficial for the Enterprise as new employees will be given a running start in their new positions by providing them with all of the tools they need to be successful.
